Okay, I DID THE IMPOSSIBLE, and beat all eight Knights of The Order of No Quarter, in a row, immediately one after another. (the last one was Plague Knight).

After you beat them and they fall off screen, it turns out they're formed a human chain and are barely holding on, and you, the player, are given the choice to help them or not. (using your dig motion to get them up one after another.)

Greedy Treasure Knight tells you no amount of wealth is worth the heartache waiting for you, and wishes you good luck "doomed hero."

Mole Knight admits at last that you are the superior digger, and asks to compare notes.

King Knight (not really a king) laments the loss of his luxuries, castle, fiefdoms, and his precious chandeliers and curses you... but then says your armor is cool and you've picked up on his style (which if you're wearing the gold armor, which I was, which does nothing but look cool, which ironically made it useful in the black out areas).

Specter Knight isn't worried about losing twice, saying no mere mortal can defeat the Enchantress.

Plague Knight laughs to himself, he doesn't have your strength, but is far more clever, "So watch out! Hee hee hee!"

Propeller Knight says that if all your quests are this much a thrill that he should join you some time.

Tinker Knight: Says that there were "substantial inadequacies in my hydraulic actuators considerable irritations warranted!"

Polar Knight? He STILL wants you to joint their side. He hasn't changed his mind at all. :-(  Which is kinda sad since it's hinted that he was Shovel Knight's mentor, or very least his comrade.

Ah, I remember this wonderful gem. I did really abuse the phase locket in this boss rush and it still wasn't easy. The final boss that awaits you now is absolutely incredible and a wonderful piece of show don't tell to characterise not just one character but also their bond with Shovel Knight.

I can already tell you that Plague Knight takes some time to get used to but you can stay in the air for an insane ammount of time once you have mastered enough of his skills. Not to mention that his story manages to be even more heartwarming then the original story. You won't regret it to master Plague Knight, that I can promise you.
