Why I don't see Glimmer's motive as 'That's it?'

Why I don't see Glimmer's Messiah Complex as 'disportioncate retribution' in the sense that it breaks audience disbelief, is that it happened during her foalhood, and likely than not, as the entire episode had shown, even the smallest thing can snow ball!  And Starlight tells Twilight that unlike the CMC and the mane six, she DIDN'T get her cutie mark at the same time as her friend.

Also, one fanfic writer had Twilight point out that Apple Bloom simply moved on when Twist got her cutie mark... except it's NOT that simple! Apple Bloom didn't move on, she had friends who came to her in her moment of need while Twist didn't even STAND UP FOR HER when Diamond
Tiara was mocking her in front of every pony (helping Apple Bloom when she needed it most), Starlight Glimmer had NO ONE that came to her aid when she needed it most.

Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle are the only reason Apple Bloom didn't go down Glimmer's path.

And another reviewer pointed something VERY IMPORTANT out. Starlight NEVER ONCE blamed Sunburst ONCE for not sending so much as a letter or telling her bye-bye after saving her life and getting his cutie mark for it... she blamed his cutie mark instead, she didn't WANT to blame him.

I disagree. One bad event does not justify starting a cult, even if they gave up their cutie marks willingly starlight never let them have it back if they wanted them, they had to meet in secret and were locked in a room till they were "corrected".  She stole the mane six's marks and forced her way on them and when she lost her town she took the marks out of spite. She tried to ruin the mane six's lives through time travel out of petty revenge and even after being show the end of the world she was still willing to doom everyone because of her stubbornness.

Her redemption came out of no where, she was forgiven instantly even the ponies she mistreated in her cult forgave her like nothing. Luna was inprissoned for 1000 years, Discord struggled with his redemtion Untill it finally stuck and before that point only Fluttershy liked him, even Diamond Tiara was punsihed repeatedly for being a brat and while she could be cruel she never put anyone in danger like Starlight did.

starlight may have had a bad thing happen to her, she might have had the best intentions but it doesn't make her the good guy and it doesn't justify her actions.
Starlight chose to never put herself out there, that was her chose. She can't blame not having friends on a choice she made. Applebloom had her family, I doubt she would have become like Starlight. Moondancer withdrew herself but never lashed out or tired to punish the world for what happen to her.

Take away her villainous actions and she is not that Intresting to me. Kelly Sheridan (Starlight's voice actress) also plays a part in why I don't buy her redemtion, she played her so smug, smarmy and self righteous that I didn't buy that her redemtion was genuine.
